Alstonville’s pair of Rodney McCabe and Peter Taylor have taken out the NSW State Champion of Club Champion’s Pairs at South Tamworth Bowls club yesterday with a 19 to 14 shots win over Clinton Doust & Mathew Baus of Raymond Terrace Bowls Club.
In a hard fought match the lead was never more than three shots until the last end when Alstonville scored a four on the last end to blow the score to 19/14. Well done Rodney & Peter.
